Blessed with the gift of gab and a hunger to exceed internal expectations, Victor Jaymes is a talented producer and storyteller, specializing in sports and pop culture topics, based in Austin, Texas.

Born and raised in Southern California, Victor learned a love of sports, history and culture from his upbringing in an ethnically diverse and eclectic family.

Victor has nearly a decade of video production experience including broadcast journalism, digital content, podcasting, and scripted television. He also has experience in front of the camera as an Emmy-nominated sports anchor and podcast host. These lanes help display his skills for writing, shooting video, and leadership capabilities.

In 2024, he created “Everybody Gotta Podcast” to expound on his passion for sports and culture with a variety of guests. The show focuses on why guests love the sports and cultural topics they do in a part interview-style, part free flowing chat structure. Victor loves storytelling, so the opportunity to expose his audience to his guests’ stories is why he started the show.

In 2023, Victor earned a Lonestar Sports Emmy nomination for anchoring and producing a Black History Month Special for the “Beyond The Sport” program at Spectrum News 1 Texas. The show featured in-depth interviews with prominent figures in Texas athletics. Figures like University of Texas legend Retha Swindell, who was the first Black woman to play basketball for the Longhorns and Yates High Assistant Boys Basketball Coach Eddy Barlow, who grew up with George Floyd.
